Pocomoke Man Stabbed To Death In His Home

I'm sure that people already know that about the 77 year old William ‘Nib’ Niblett was killed in his home by Charles Robert Phillips. Charles Phillips was serving 30 days in jail for 2nd degree assault and violation of probation and got out of jail two days before he allegedly killed Mr. Niblett. I have heard that Phillips had done some work for 'Nib' in the past and 'Nib' owed him $300. From what some people tell me 'Nib' pulled out a knife on Phillips and Charles took the knife out of 'Nibs' hand and stabbed him. By watching the news clip on wboc.com tells that he had somebody drive Phillips to Pocomoke.Oh well... bad people do bad things over and over.

Nib was a good man and a better plumber.

To be killed by someone who just got out of jail over a few dollars is sinful.

We lost a very important part of the community with 'Nib' and he will be missed.

It sounds like the man who killed him confessed because he could not live with himself and what he did.

When it comes to money or your life remember... they print money every day but God only made one you...

Sorry, I just don't think a 12 year old with a blog about high school should be touching on this issue. The blog has a theme, don't deviate from it.

grand dad your this kids uncle, what are you thinking?

Anon 1:38,

You're right....it does have a theme. Sometimes the content of a post goes off theme. If he starts posting things about sexual relations and stuff I'll yank the reigns a little. What should we do? Should we start sending the kids out of the room when the news goes on? This is their world. I will never expect them to go thru life like ostriches with their heads in the sand. our kids NEED to know what's going on around them so that they don't foolishly trust just anyone. I still hope this guy gets the lethal injection.

I agree grand dad I think the kids need to know what goes on around them so they don't go around somebody who is a bad person.
